  1. Hi Allie,
Glad you took the time to make this today. I laughed, I cried…I relate to all of this and I will show this to my b/f tonight to express how much I appreciate his patience in dealing with me daily. Keep it up girl, show everyone that we are real people too!!!! Thanks and hugs….

  2. Ahh, thank you for making this video. Good to hear the advice and I didn’t know about all the different subtypes!
Looking forward to hearing more :)

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I do hope people will get educated about this disorder. My family chooses not to get educated, so yes I have yelled, screamed told them to get out of my life..but they also know what traumatic event caused this..don’t care and just choose to not speak with me .

Thanks for posting the video – it was informative and interesting. I’ve been looking for blogs as I have BPD, but this is the first video I’ve seen. It’s different, hearing someone (and watching them) talk about BPD rather than just reading it. It was effective. I have a problem with my man telling me to control myself. I try so hard, and it’s just not always easy. What are you using to control/manage your emotions?

    • I wouldn’t say I control my emotions to the extent a normal person does but after many years of my own irrational thinking I have learned to recognize my emotional thoughts and reactions from my logical ones. It’s not easy but I would suggest to you a DBT workbook, you can find them on Amazon. I would also ask your bf to read up on your illness so he has a better understanding ! Good luck darling
